Job and Jem fic updates

I was debating when I would write about this, but I finally have a job.  It is not the position I originally applied for, though it's at the same company.  I won't say what position I got right now.  A girl's gotta keep some mystery.  lol  

The position I originally interviewed for didn't pan out. The guy who interviewed me offered me something else, which I turned down at first, then when I got home that day, I reconsidered the offer and emailed the guy back.  So, he got back to me and asked to interview me again.  I met with him this past Friday and my availability was still a problem, because I needed 4 full days where I could be asked to work any shift they need me to work and I had only 3.  But with some help from my sister, I was able to open up my availability, and I ended up getting the job.

I have to go back on Wednesday to do some paperwork and shit, and set up my orientation and get my schedule, but it looks like I'll be officially working really soon.  

Because I've been busy doing work related stuff, I haven't had much time to work on my Jem fic as much as I would have liked to.  I was hoping to finish writing the first chapter, but I still only have the first scene written (first two chapters are fully outlined, just not fleshed out).  I have also figured out the story lines almost completely for Danse and her family, as well as Minx (and the other Stingers), and the Holograms' family lives, and I am continuing to develop the main plot involving Stormer and her little charge.  I've got a lot more ideas, thanks to help from a fellow FF.net author I've been chatting with in private messages.  

I don't know how long the fic will be, but I'm estimating at least 20.   I am interested in co-writing this project, if any of you guys want to, but if not, that's okay too.  It would be pretty sweet to see how two different writers' ideas and writing styles blend together.
